A Consultation is a conversation
Let’s start by arranging a consultation. A consultation is simply a focused conversation. It’s usually a short call where you tell me why you’re looking for therapy. Also, you should feel free to ask me about how I work so that you can begin to assess whether I would be a good fit for you and your desire for change.
When we have this call, you should be somewhere you can speak freely about your concerns. I will ask how your circumstances affect you day to day and how long you’ve been facing them. I usually ask if you’ve tried therapy before and what that was like for you.
Getting in touch
Call me, email or use the contact form below to make arrangements for a consultation. Briefly describe why you are seeking psychotherapy. Discussing your needs and how I might work with you will help us decide whether we wish to work together. From here we can arrange an appointment.
Fee for psychotherapy
My fee for a standard 50 minute therapy hour is $130. Some insurance plans apply. Ask your insurance provider what coverage they have for ‘Registered Psychotherapist,’ or ‘R.P.’, my designation.
